Terms & Conditions

ASHA Sound Therapy Practitioner Training Terms and Conditions:

By enrolling in the Australian Sound Healers Association (ASHA) Sound Therapy Practitioner Training, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Payment and Fees
Payment for the course is due in full at the time of registration, unless a payment plan has been arranged with ASHA. ASHA reserves the right to cancel enrollment for non-payment. All fees are non-refundable, except as outlined in the ASHA Refund Policy.

Refund Policy
Payment of course fees including payment plans are non-refundable and all payments must be finalized in order to issue your certificate of completion. In special unforeseen circumstances, students may request a payment extension or plan cancellation which must be made in writing to the ASHA Board of Directors, and it is up to the discretion of the board to make this decision. ASHA reserves the right to cancel any plans or student membership at any time if found to be in violation of our code of ethics or terms.

Attendance and Participation
Participants are expected to complete all assignments and assessments within the 12-month time frame. This course is self-paced, and students have 12 months (52 weeks) to complete their training and course materials to gain their certificate. Upon completion, students will gain a 200-hour certificate of completion in Sound Therapy from ASHA.

Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and to treat fellow students, faculty, and staff with respect and courtesy. Participants may not engage in any behavior that is discriminatory, harassing, or disruptive. ASHA reserves the right to dismiss any participant who violates the Code of Conduct.

Filming and Photography Waiver
Participants may be filmed and/or photographed during their participation in ASHA events, and live Zoom sessions may be recorded for training and assessment purposes. Participants agree to waive any right to inspect or approve the use of the film and/or photographs or the finished product that may be used in connection therewith, or the use to which it may be applied. Participants release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless ASHA, its directors, officers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses that may arise from the use of the film and/or photographs.

Liability Disclaimer
ASHA is not liable for any mental health or emotional issues that students face or for any financial issues that may arise during or after the course. Furthermore, ASHA is not liable for any disruptions, including lockdowns or disasters, that may affect the course schedule or completion.

​

Course Access and Completion
Students have one year (12 months) to complete the course. If the course is not completed within this timeframe, access to the training materials will be revoked. Upon successful completion of the course, students will have access to the course materials for an additional two years. This course is designed to be completed within one year.
