What is the ASHA Practitioner Training Program?

The ASHA Practitioner Training is a comprehensive program designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to become certified sound therapy practitioners. It's an opportunity to join a community of world-class wellness facilitators, healers, and sound therapists and learn through sharing and creative exchange.

 

Who is this certification for?

Anyone with an interest in developing their knowledge, skills, experience, confidence and opportunities as a Sound Healer or Therapist. ASHA welcomes Sound healers who are already practicing and delivering sound healing sessions to  build on their knowledge and experience as well as community network, while adding an IICT endorsed certification to open additional opportunities in more regulated industries. This certification is also an open invitation for  wellness practitioners, business owners or inspired creatives to add an additional service or offering to their work or a complete career change.

 

How is the Sound Therapy Certification Training Delivered?

The Program is a comprehensive 200-hour part-time course, delivered over twelve  months (approximately 4hrs p/wk). It is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to become certified sound therapy practitioners. The program includes online modules, recordings of practical training, and Zoom sessions.

 

Does this course include live in person sessions?

This is an online course with online modules and content, designed to be accessible from anywhere in the world, with live Fortnightly Q & A sessions integrated into the program where you can speak face to face with our trainers and guest facilitators. ASHA also delivers Live in-person trainings as part of our ASHA Membership, where our ASHA students are able to access discounts to participate in these live sessions as part of their 12months free membership with their training. Access to these recordings will be made available via the online learning portal.

Can I do the training all online?

The Sound Therapy Practitioner training can be completed online from anywhere in the world. We highly recommend attending one of our discounted in person practical sessions where available however recordings these will be available online for those who are unable to attend.

 

When are the zoom sessions?

Zoom support calls are held monthly over the 12 months to support you as you navigate sound therapy science, application and build confidence as a sound healing practitioner.

 

How much time do I need to complete the certification?

You will need to allow 4-5hrs a week to complete your studies within 6-12 months. The online content and zoom call sessions are available for 12 month providing ample time for you to complete your studies and receive your certification.

 

When can I start?

You can start by registering on the ASHA website. Where you will receive access to the content and be able to attend fortnightly zoom sessions. Live in person practical trainings are offeredd to our ASHA students at a discounted rate as part of your 12 month association membership (you will also have access to the recordings of these live sessions via the online learning portal). You will have up to 12 months to complete the course.

What is the Certification?

IICT (International Institute for Complementary Therapists) approved internationally recognised certification with professional membership and insurance available for graduates. IICT are a global membership body that provides recognition and credibility for complementary therapists who work in 1,100+ modalities.

 

Will I get a certificate?

Yes you will receive a certificate for the successful completion of ASHA Australian Sound Healers Association - Sound Therapy Practitioner Training Course | 12 months | completed 200hrs.

Is your course Trauma-Informed?

Yes our certification employs informed facilitators and uses safe and educational framework to equip you with the knowledge, capacity and practical skills to help your clients heal, overcome pain, trauma and challenges to dramatically improve lives.

 

Will I be able to get insurance?

Yes as an IICT approved certification you automatically have access to competitively priced comprehensive Professional Indemnity and Public & Products Liability insurance to protect your holistic therapy practice so you can continue doing what you love.

 

What support do I have after the training?

We are passionate about creating a community of world class sound healers, therapists and practitioners. After your certification is complete you will continue to be part of our student community with ongoing support, connection, opportunities and updated training material as well as qualifying for further training specialities.
